With a meandering nature trail, a 16-acre lake, winding scenic creek, and planned amenities including two parks and a canoe outpost, the final phase of Grand Hampton embraces all the best features of the community. Outpost Point offers one of the last opportunities to build a new home in the master-planned New Tampa neighborhood, where two models by builders Taylor Woodrow Homes and David Weekley Homes open this month.

“The new models at Outpost Point are part of our Cottage series, which feature welcoming front porches and garages hidden at the rear of the home,” said Grady Miars, LandMar Group regional manger. “This fosters a great sense of community and gives neighbors plenty of opportunity to meet and interact.” He explains that alleys behind the homes offer access to the garages, while the front porches face the neighborhood streets.

David Weekley Homes has built the Barra, with three bedrooms and a study, two bathrooms, and an additional room designed as a kids’ area. The model is nearly 2,400 square feet, plus a 750-square-foot retreat above the garage. The retreat area features an additional bathroom and the model is outfitted with a wet bar for the perfect game room or entertainment area. The space can also be modified to include a kitchen and serve as an in-law or guest suite. The home features a two-car garage.

The bungalow-style Barra model includes a front porch, plus a rear lanai that opens from the kitchen with French doors and also serves as a common entrance for the garage and upstairs retreat.

Taylor Woodrow Homes has opened its Spencer model, which features four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms. A three car garage is standard for Taylor Woodrow Homes, as is a tankless water heater, which adds even more garage space.

The two-story Spencer model home features a Key West elevation, including an upstairs balcony off two of the bedrooms on the front of the home. The model is decorated by acclaimed interior designer Kay Green, and is described as “stunning” by those who have seen it.

Grand Hampton’s Outpost Point is a single-family neighborhood bordering the scenic Cypress Creek. Nature trails are planned that will lead to the future Outpost Park along Cypress Creek and Lakeside Park located on the 16-acre Hampton Lake. All residents have access to the community’s outstanding amenities, including The Hampton Club, an 8,300 square-foot facility featuring a Grand Club Room with fireplace, billiards, wet bar and card tables, high-speed internet access, and a fitness center with state-of-the-art equipment. Outdoor amenities include a resort-style swimming pool with beach entry and waterslide, a separate pool for lap swimming, lighted tennis courts, children’s playground, multi-purpose lawn.

With 24 new home designs unveiled by David Weekley Homes and Taylor Woodrow Homes for Outpost Point, buyers will have plenty of styles to choose from in the final phase of the community. Each builder is offering six floorplans for the 50 foot homesites in the neighborhood and six floorplans for the 70 foot homesites.
